Why I Became a Doula
Hello! My name is Ashley. I have always been obsessed with learning everything I can about pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I thought it was normal to watch raw birth videos for fun, but I slowly realized that the love I had for these videos was the beginning of a calling. I became a doula because I believe no one should have to navigate birth alone. I am holistically-minded and very passionate people making the best decisions for themselves by having all of the research. The most defining thing about me is my Christian faith. It shapes the way I serve families — with compassion, humility, and a deep commitment to honoring each person’s unique story.
